DRI Young Lawyers Seminar in Miami Beach, Florida

Join the Young Lawyers Committee (YLC) June 14, 2012 through June 15, 2012 at the Eden Roc Renaissance hotel in Miami Beach, Florida!!!

Young Lawyers Seminar Testimonial by David Campbell

The DRI Young Lawyers Seminar has opened many doors for me over the years and I'm thrilled that the seminar is returning to Miami.  In addition to helping create a strong network of legal contacts across the country, I've met new clients at this seminar and have gained practical skills and training that have furthered my litigation practice.  I met great in-house lawyers from several companies the last time the seminar was in Miami and am pleased to report that I've received new case assignments as a direct result of this seminar. Miami is the perfect venue for this fast-paced seminar and I can't wait to see everyone in June.

If you have any questions for Dave about his experience at previous DRI Young Lawyers Seminars, contact him at David.Capbell@bowmanandbrook.com.

Turn up the heat in Miami by Sponsoring the Young Lawyers Seminar!

As we begin a new year, we know that many of you are making pitches to your partners for business development support.  The Young Lawyers Seminar will return to Miami June 14-15 and we ask that you please consider approaching your firm management about sponsoring our seminar.  To accommodate any budget, DRI offers general sponsorships for 2012 starting at $500.  Past and current sponsors have already experienced the benefits gained from sponsoring our seminar, including:

  • One free registration for sponsorships of $1,500 (a $600 value)
  • On-site signage (DRI will provide signage at the seminar acknowledging all General Sponsors);
  • Oral acknowledgement during the seminar;
  • A copy of the pre-registration list (approximately 21 days before the seminar);
  • Recognition in the on-site schedule of events distributed to every attendee;
  • A copy of the final attendee list (provided after the meeting); and
  • Recognition on a sponsor flyer that is distributed to all attendees.

Additionally, a DRI t-shirt featuring the logo of each sponsor will be distributed to all participants in the community service project.

Do you have a vendor interested in sponsorship?

Sponsorship is also fantastic way for experts, copy services, court reporters or other vendors to increase their exposure among defense counsel nationwide.  As a crucial part of long range business planning, young lawyers are often responsible for retaining vendors on their cases.  Through sponsorship, vendors have a unique opportunity to gain familiarity and make connections with young lawyers from a broad range of substantive areas.  Please provide the company name and your contact to the sponsorship committee and we'll do the rest!  Please also forward any Florida-based vendors since we have been successful securing vendors based near our seminar venue.

The Sponsorship Committee is happy to help you with your efforts to secure sponsorship dollars.  Please feel free to forward your sponsorship suggestions or queries to David Campbell, david.campbell@bowmanandbrooke.com , (248.687.5326) or Felicia Jafferies, fjafferies@ericksenarbuthnot.com, (408.286.0880).

Thank you again for your ongoing support of the DRI Young Lawyers Committee and we'll see you in Miami!
