Sign Up Your Summer Clerks as DRI Law Student Members
DRI's Law Student Initiative seeks to introduce law students, summer associates and law clerks to the defense practice early in their careers. If your firm has summer associates or law clerks coming aboard this summer, you have a unique opportunity to introduce those students to DRI for only $20. As a DRI member you have likely already seen the many benefits of membership. Why not share those benefits with your summer clerks? For only $20 each, you can purchase one year DRI memberships for your summer clerks and help them get involved with DRI. You can use the membership as a beginning-of-the-summer "welcome" or an end-of-the-summer "thank you" to your clerks.

A $20 law student membership includes all of the following benefits:
For The Defense, DRI's monthly magazine
• Free registration at seminars (including the Young Lawyers Seminar in June) and/or the Annual Meeting
• Free registration for webconferences
• Weekly editions of The Voice, DRI's e-newsletter
• Monthly editions of The Whisper, the DRI Young Lawyers Committee e-newsletter that now has a dedicated article each quarter that is of interest to, or even published by, law students
• Free membership in the DRI Young Lawyers Committee
• Ability to begin early networking with other defense lawyers and start learning how to develop business
• Access to
www.dri.org  and its expert witness database; and
• Assuming your summer clerk graduates, passes the bar and enters the defense practice, your summer clerk can receive his/her first year of membership as a young lawyer member of DRI absolutely free (a $130 value), and also obtain the certificate for free attendance at a future DRI seminar that all new DRI Young Lawyers get.
