imperial sugar ceo discusses combustible dust at general session
John C. Sheptor, President and CEO of Imperial Sugar, described his company’s recovery from the tragic 2008 combustible dust explosion at a refinery in Port Wentworth, Ga., which caused loss of lives, injuries and substantial damage to the facility. Sheptor detailed the numerous changes Imperial Sugar has made in reaction to the incident and called for a federal combustible dust standard. Read more.
