We recently had the opportunity to interview Richard Wesp, an extremely popular choral director who spent 57 years teaching in the Forest Hills School District in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Wesp is a recipient of both the Ohio MEA Distinguished Service Award and the CCM Distinguished Alumni Award. Having taught well over 10,000 students in his career before retiring in June 2011, he has had many opportunities to share his passion for music education with students, student teachers, and now, with other educators.

De Profundis - Composer/clinician Russell Robinson conducted the premiere at Lincoln Center.
Everyone Sang - Andy Beck conducted his new composition at the Granville County "Night of the Stars" concert (NC).
Let Me Be Your Star - Greg Gilpin's arrangement was premiered by The Headliners of Butler Community College (KS) at the FAME show choir event in Branson, Missouri.
The Lobster Quadrille - Robyn Lana directed the Southern Division ACDA Elementary Honors Choir with composer Ryan Brechmacher in the audience.
A Pocketful of Rhymes - The Rowan County Honor Choir joined the Salisbury Symphony (NC) for a special children's concert with composer Sally Albrecht co-conducting.
