Power of Four Mountain Bike Race & Run
The Power of Four is a premier race series utilizing the unique and amazing terrain of each of the four Aspen/Snowmass mountains. Each race is designed to test the limits and skills of both elite and recreational athletes. The mountain bike race, August 3, features a unique course that will require participants to conquer pieces of Aspen, Snowmass, Buttermilk and Aspen Highlands. The Power of Four Run, August 4, is the newest challenge in the series giving runners their chance to scurry across 50K worth of trails. A mix of terrain covering more than 10,000 feet of climbing will make both races absolutely epic. |
Aspen Renewable Energy Day
The 10th anniversary AREDAY Summit, Film Fest, and Expo "Advancing Clean Energy: Transition to a Sustainable Economy." takes place August 15-18. Speakers include Ted Turner, Lester Brown, Sylvia Earle, Amory Lovins, General Wesley Clark, and leaders in renewable and sustainable energy. USA Pro Challenge in Aspen
The USA Pro Challenge rolls into Aspen this August 19th & 20th for two stages, including the overall start to the race, making Aspen the place to be; whether you’re an avid cycling fan or recreational rider we have the race experience for you. Join us the weekend prior to the race for training rides, a chance to meet the teams, cultural events and more. Monday morning will bring a circuit race to town which is paralleled by bike paths creating unprecedented spectator friendly viewing locations. MountainSummit: Mountain Film in Aspen
